The best of the bunch throughout the day however were the female-driven bands, culminating in a refreshing change for a rock festival such as this. First of the day was Hampshire-based sextet Season's End. Having performed on the small stage at last year's Bloodstock, Season's End get promoted to the main stage (thankfully) for this year's festival). The female vocals provided by front woman Becki Clark combined with those guitarist David Stanton, whilst not entirely the newest of ideas in this genre, is still highly enjoyable, as does the audience.
