SWS
im sorry to be so negative in this post but you guys really did suck absolute arse. i went to see you guys at junktion 7 in nottingham. after an excellent performance from captive audio even though it was their first ever gig. things then started getting better when liquid sky took the satge and absolutely blew the crowd away with "Armistice" and as concerts go - the headliner is usually better than the support - so i was hoping for an immense climax to the evening but was sadly disappointed with a downright appauling performance by yourselves - you shoudl be ashamed to have even attempted playing there after too magnificent bands you ruined the evening for them and your own fans. i personally was not there to see you - but i wont be going near a stage with you on it ever again

i would just like to point out to SWS that first of all i think you are completely wrong, second of all Seasons End, in my opinion, were the best band on the night and i shall do all i can to go see them again several times this year, especially if they keep obliginly playing Junktion 7, fourthly if they are so rubbish why are they on the MAIN stage at Bloodstock (vince does know what hes doing when it comes to metal music) and finally for f**k sake if you dont have something nice/constructive to say dont say it!

Shame really - Season's End are an amazing band but everytime I see them they have equipment problems. :( Mebbe that had something to do with SWS's experience?

Recently we have had a series of (different!) equipment problems on stage. Sometimes these things are easy to deal with by changing leads/guitars and the like. Unfortunately sometimes these unpredicatable events (amp heads blowing up and power cuts etc) take a bit more time to identify and then sort out. I assure you all that this kind of thing pisses us off as much as it does you guys! Obviously we'll continue to do our best to minimise the chances of this kind of thing happening, but these do happen from time to time. I can't promise that everyone will like our music, but hope that most people will manage to enjoy our gigs and try to look past the things we can't control!

in case you didnt notice it is constructive and i quite frankly think that they dont deserve to grace the same stage as children of bodom or if they are at bloodstock indoor - they DEFINATELY don't deserve to be on the same stage as hamerfall.
i have my views - but liquid sky were sooooooo much better

Or not getting Dave to try to fix your mike stand after strange girls in Wimbledon break it lol. :? Dave, you are a keyboardist...not a broken mike fixer!

Fair enough if you think all that "SWS", we appreciate that not everyone's going to like our music or our shows. Why don't you go and spend your time on the Liquid Sky website rather than wasting all of ours on here.

sws? what kind of pathetic lonely xfiles fanatic goes to the trouble of leaving a mini-essay to register their disgust to a bunch of strangers. ever seen a naked lady before (that didn't have staples through her baps?) no, i didn't think so. why don't u do yourself a big favour, clean the jizz off of your wipe-clean gillian anderson poster, turn off your computer and go and meet some girls. on a scale of 1 to gay, sws definately rates at 9.dale winton.

Considering the type of stuff you are doing puts you in direct competition with the likes of Nightwish and Within Temptation, you need to improve so much to even draw level with these bands.
The vocals mesh, and lack either the urgency of Marco from Nightwish, or the clarity of Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation.
The traCKs you have made available go on for too long without any sense of the grandiosity of Dream Theater who really are the only band that can make a 10 minute song interesting.
I'm sorry, because I really wanted to enjoy the band, the premise of Gothic Metal with more of a Celtic theme is exactly what I am looking for, but so far you are falling flat of what I hoped for.
Sorry for being a total Simon Cowell (ie Bastard) there are enough people here heaping praise on you, and who am I, maybe I'm wrong....

You make some fair points, but the thing to remember here is that SE are a fledgling band, they are only on their first album, and don't have the experience or the money to achieve greatnesas yet, though I would say for an unsigned band they are pretty damn good. Who knows, maybe when the cd is re-recorded this year you will have a different opinion?

Thanks for your comments on the band. Its always good to hear other ideas about our music. We're just wondering where you got the Celtic Theme idea? I only ask cos its been mentioned before, but I have no idea what it refers to in terms of our music. Cheers, and hope you find something to like about us in the future!

Hi Becki.
Appreciate your reply to my comments, I hope that as your band grows you keep the personal touch.
Before listening to the tracks available here, I read the reviews page, and noted that Malcolm Dome referred to you as using "Celtic lore" which apart from Symphonic Metal drawing upon the world of Opera for inspiration, I would consider a more Gothic Clannad/Enya style to be a more natural transition, and one which I believe would sound great.
Perhaps I went into listening to your tracks with a preconception, unfortunately though for the time being it is one that as clouded my ears.
What I am being told however is that the production level of your tracks is far removed from how the album will sound when released.
I look forward to hearing the change, and eating my words, with lashings of gravy.

Thanks - is always nice to talk to a sceptic who at least has an open mind! Maybe coming along to one of our live shows might help improve your opinion of us as well?!

I just saw RazorBladeKisses at the Market Hotel in Alton last night, they were far better than I thought.
I give you your due, but you could learn a lot from this band. Tim is the best onstage guitarist I have seen for a very long time, regardless of his tendency to kick off at sound engineers!!!!!!!!!!!!
